Rather than give a small amount to lots of organizations (say, $10 to 10 orgs), make an investment in a few organizations that are really close to your heart (say, $25 to 4 orgs). With loyal giving to a few organizations over time, you'll find yourself building a relationship with the organization, learn more about the org's work, and get to see where your money is really going.
